House rules
In order to guarantee a successful holiday experience to all guests and residents of the compounds and resorts where our accommodations are located, it is necessary to observe a few rules, requests and procedures, which are listed below:
#1 These rules are part of our General Terms and Conditions. By booking you accept the rules as binding (see also "Terms & conditions").
#2 Especially during major events in and around Winterberg, the access routes to our accommodations may be particularly restricted. Therefore, please have your booking confirmation and an identification document ready upon arrival. In this situation, you may receive access cards for the duration of your stay, which must be shown when (re-)entering the holiday facilities. These cards identify you as an authorised visitor and make it easier to secure the resorts. The instructions of the security staff must always be followed!
#3 The parking space belonging to our holiday suite "Kappe Deluxe" in the underground car park at Kapperundweg 4 and the parking space belonging to our design studio "Kappe Deluxe" in front of the house at Buchenweg 21 can be used free of charge! Both car parks are clearly marked. Parking in other spaces than those reserved for you is not permitted! In the event of non-compliance, the respective owners expressly reserve the right to charge a contractual penalty or parking fees and/or to tow your vehicle away at your expense - in the same way as we do if a third-party vehicle obstructs your allocated parking space (please send us photos of the vehicle including the licence plate number by e-mail to parking@winterberg-ferien.de). During the day, free parking is available in designated parking spaces at the ski lift carousel. The public car parks at the Kappe are equipped with parking machines provided by the city of Winterberg and are therefore subject to a charge. The use of any car park is at your own risk. We are not liable for any damage caused to your vehicle when entering or leaving the car park or while parking.
#4 The entire equipment and furniture in the vacation properties (all permanently installed as well as all loose items) are our property! We ask you to always treat the apartments including furnishings with care and return them as you found them. Any modification of the building and its facilities, including the unauthorized moving and rearranging of furnishings (especially beds) is not permitted.
#5 There is no deposit due for the use of our holiday properties. Nevertheless, you are liable for any damage and defects that may occur in your responsibility. Corresponding damage invoices can be submitted within one month after your departure and are payable immediately.
#6 Any existing damage and/or defects or those occurring during your stay must be reported immediately! Please contact us in such
a case by phone on (+49)/(0)2573/6078640 or via e-mail to support@winterberg-ferien.de.
#7 The tenants of the vacation properties are not allowed to invite or take other guests from outside into the facilities. In addition, the overnight stay in the house or in the apartments is only allowed to the registered vacation guests in compliance with the maximum occupancy in each case.
#8 The unauthorised entry of other private areas within the facility is prohibited!
#9 Out of respect for all residents, we ask that you refrain from excessive noise in the complex throughout the day. The playing of loud music outside the holiday homes is prohibited. In addition, quiet hours apply from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at midday and from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am at night! During this time, special consideration is required for other guests and neighbours. TV and audio equipment must be set to room volume.
#10 It is not allowed to smoke in the vacation properties! In case of violation, a cleaning fee of up to EUR 250.00 may be charged. Smoking is only allowed outside; the doors to the apartments must be kept closed during this time.
#11 Bringing, feeding and keeping (domestic) animals is prohibited!
#12 Placing or distributing commercial advertising in the facilities is prohibited!
#13 Please separate and dispose your garbage only into the provided garbage cans.
#14 For the duration of the vacation rental, the tenants are obliged to keep windows and doors closed and to turn off lights and technical devices when leaving the apartments.
#15 The tenants of the vacation properties are obliged to grant the employees of all facilities and resorts access to the house or apartments in case of an emergency!
#16 The tenants of the vacation properties are revocably granted free use of the respective available Internet connection on the one hand with the terminal devices available in the vacation properties (e.g. Smart TV, etc.) and on the other hand with the devices brought by themselves (e.g. smartphones, tablets, notebooks, etc.). By using the access data to the WLAN, the tenants and/or users accept that all such used services and legal transactions are the sole responsibility of themselves. The tenants and/or users are always obliged to comply with the applicable law when using the WLAN. Thus, the tenants or users may not use the WLAN to retrieve or distribute immoral or illegal content. Furthermore, they may not unlawfully acquire, reproduce, distribute or make accessible any copyrighted material. The tenant(s) and/or user(s) shall indemnify the landlord(s) and/or owner(s) against all damages and claims of third parties based on any illegal use of the WLAN and/or any violation of this agreement. This also extends to costs and expenses associated with the claim or its defense. The setup modification of any device available in the vacation properties, in particular saving and deleting data and/or applications, is prohibited! Criminal acts will be reported and prosecuted.
