The vacation suite, tastefully furnished in a modern country house style with dignified colors, perfectly matches the idyllic atmosphere of the Rothaargebirge. On about 70 square meters, up to four guests will find the ideal environment for a perfect stay in the Hochsauerland. Fancy accessories complete the relaxation oasis down to the smallest detail.
The generous living and dining area with its spacious sofa offers enough space for up to four persons. On the south-facing balcony you can enjoy the sun with a view to the ski slopes and bike park.
In the bright, well-equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, you can cook for yourself or visit the restaurants within walking distance. The choice is yours! The Winterberg shopping street is located nearby. Here you will find everything your heart desires: products for daily needs as well as small stores and boutiques for leisurely shopping. Within minutes you are back in your vacation paradise. Meanwhile, your car can remain in the apartment's own underground parking garage.
Comfortable sleeping arrangements for optimal relaxation
Spend peaceful nights in the cozy country house bedrooms: a spacious double bed awaits you in the master bedroom (180 x 200 cm).
A special experience of comfort is offered by our infrared sauna in the master bedroom, where you can enjoy soothing warmth during your stay. After an eventful day of skiing in winter, but also, for example, after an action-packed day in the bike park or a demanding hike through the Rothaargebirge, the sauna cabin is the perfect way to begin a relaxing evening. Upon request, we will also provide you with our large sauna package including bathrobe, slippers, sauna towel and aroma variations, so that there is nothing in the way of fulfilling your relaxation and wellness experience.
In the second bedroom we have two comfortable single beds (90 x 200 cm each) available. Roomy wardrobes in both bedrooms provide enough storage space for your clothes. Sufficient hangers are available.
The modernly furnished bathroom offers a real glass shower cabin to ensure a comfortable showering experience. There is also enough storeroom under the rectangular sink and enough shelf space above it for your washing utensils. In addition, our washer-dryer combination is available for use during your entire stay in the holiday suite "Kappe Deluxe" for a one-time flat fee of 8.00 euros.

The prices quoted in each case already include the final cleaning in accordance with the German Price Indication Ordinance (PAngV).

Note: Winterberg is subject to visitor's tax. The visitor's tax is EUR 3.00 per person per night and is charged in addition to the accommodation price. Children and teenagers under 16 years are exempt from the visitor's tax.

Arrival
On your arrival day, the ‘Kappe Deluxe’ holiday suite will be available from 3:30 p.m. as standard. Please contact us in good time before your arrival to arrange the exact time for key collection.
Alternatively, you can also collect the key to the apartment from our key box in the entrance area of the building (e.g. if you are arriving very late or are a repeat guest). In this case, you will receive an email before your arrival with a detailed explanation of this procedure. This email will also contain instructions for using our underground car park.
Please note our house rules. Together with our general terms and conditions, they are binding for you and your fellow travelers upon your booking. It is especially important to us to respect all residents of the facility and to treat the nature in a responsible way. For this we have taken all possible measures in our accommodations. We do not offer any single-use plastic and ask you to use our resources in a sustainable way and to dispose of garbage only in the provided garbage cans.
We ask you to urgently consider that smoking is strictly prohibited in our holiday suite 'Kappe Deluxe'. Please use the outdoor areas for this purpose and make sure that the smoke cannot get into the house.
Included services
We want you to worry as little as possible about anything other than your relaxation during your stay. We have arranged for this and provide you with a number of inclusive services in our accommodations.
In our holiday suite 'Kappe Deluxe' you can use our free WLAN. You can find the dial-in details on an information board in the dining area. There you will also find a QR code that you can easily scan with your mobile device. And just like that, you're connected!
We have equipped the kitchen with common spices as well as salt and sugar. In addition, toilet paper, washing and dishwashing detergents, as well as cleaning agents for the temporary cleaning of the vacation suite are already available upon your arrival. You do not need to worry about the final cleaning. We will take care of that! This service is already included in our rental price!
You can leave your sports equipment such as mountain bikes and skis as well as your car in the underground garage. For the skis there is a lockable stand available. It is best to dry your footwear in the apartment. For this purpose we have an electric drying system installed in the entrance area.
A special experience of comfort is offered by our infrared sauna in the master bedroom, which you may use free of charge during your stay. Detailed instructions on how to use the sauna cabin are displayed at the sauna.
Additional services
If you would like to extend your sauna experience even further, we will also be happy to provide you with our large sauna package including bathrobe, slippers, sauna towel and aroma variations for a fee upon request. Four fragrances are available for you to select from: Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Siberian Spruce and Lavender. If you do not need the complete package, you can also book each part separately.
In our vacation suite we have also set up a comfortable washer-dryer. However, since we do not assume that the majority of our guests will want to spend their vacation time doing laundry, this must be added for a flat rate of 8.00 euros for the entire time of your stay. You will then receive a key with which you can activate the power connection for the device.
Departure
Please vacate the holiday suite by 10:00 a.m. on your departure day. Be sure to close all windows and doors! Simply leave the keys to the accommodation on the large table in the dining area or hang them in the small key box in the hallway. Then close the apartment door behind you when leaving.

Our neighbourhood
Our holiday suite 'Kappe Deluxe' is located at Kapperundweg 4 in the direct vicinity of the adventure mountain Kappe, which has a wide range of leisure activities in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. When guests leave the house, they only have to cross the quiet side street to stand in the middle of the ski slope or bike park. The bobsleigh run is just as much within 'walking distance' as the Panorama Adventure Bridge with its incomparable view of Winterberg and the mountains and valleys of Hochsauerland. For those who like fun and action, the fly-line, the summer toboggan run, the climbing forest and the miniature golf course are located almost directly at the house. Nature lovers and younger guests will also get their full enjoyment at the adventure mountain.
If you don't feel like cooking yourself, the Panorama Café, the Bobhaus and the Snow White House in the immediate vicinity offer delicious alternatives. On the other side of the street you will find the Winterberg campsite. In the building itself, as well as in the nearby surroundings, there are several other accommodation facilities, first and foremost the 'Gipfelstuermer', which, with its trendy Youth Apartments, appeals primarily to younger guests. Nevertheless, due to the location of our vacation suite as well as due to the robust construction of the house, quietness and relaxation are guaranteed in our holiday suite "Kappe Deluxe"!
Right next to us lies the Olympic base NRW/Westphalia. The 'Service Center Winterberg' is the federal base for the skating sports. Germany's most successful squad athletes from the sports of bobsleigh, luge and skeleton practice here. In addition, Winterberg is home to the federal base for young talents in the ski disciplines, supporting athletes from the junior squads in the sports of biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined and ski jumping. Many of the athletes who are accommodated here are members of the German Armed Forces or the Bundespolizei (German Federal Police), which means that they have access to optimal development opportunities: Apart from six weeks of career training per year, they can fully concentrate on their sport at Kapperundweg.
The performance-promoting atmosphere of this sports and training center gives the Kapperundweg its very own flair, where you can virtually sniff the air of World Cups and Olympic participations. In 2022, for example, five athletes from the Olympic base returned to Winterberg as medal winners from the Olympic Games in Beijing: Hannah Neise (gold medal in skeleton), Laura Nolte and Deborah Levi (gold medal in two-man bobsleigh), Christopher Weber (silver medal in four-man bobsleigh) and Matthias Sommer (bronze medal in two-man bobsleigh).
Transport / Location
Thanks to its central location, Winterberg in the Hochsauerland region is easily accessible from the conurbations of North Rhine-Westphalia, many other regions of Germany and neighbouring countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark. You can travel here comfortably by car, bus or train.
Arrival by train
Winterberg can easily and quickly be reached by DB interregional transport. The trains e. g. from Dortmund central station take you to Winterberg in only 104 minutes. From Hagen there are hourly connections, from Kassel at least every two hours. Information on the door-to-door luggage service of Deutsche Bahn is available at all DB sales offices. You can check your possible rail connection to Winterberg on the Westfalen schedule.
Arrival with Flixbus
Flixbus is another travel option for Winterberg visitors: whether from the Netherlands, the Ruhr area, Berlin, Lower Saxony or Hesse – the vacation world can easily be reached up to three times a day from more than 20 cities. Info on schedules and fares can be found at flixbus.de!

Local transportation
In Winterberg you can also take your car on vacation! With their payment of the visitors' tax, all holiday guests receive the SauerlandCard, which offers free bus and train travel throughout the Sauerland region, as well as a number of discounts at affiliated partner businesses. All information about buses and trains in the Hochsauerland district is available either by calling 01803/54030 or online at westfalentarif.de.
During the ski season and as long as there is sufficient snow in all connected areas, the ski lift carousel also operates two free shuttle bus routes, which make it possible to visit up to four ski areas in one day without stress or searching for a parking space. These buses depart at regular intervals from the Nordhang parking lot (P5) at the base station of Brembergkopf lift (No. 11).
Orange line: This line goes to the Postwiesen ski village Neuastenberg and stops there at the bus stop above Postwiese.
Green line: This line goes to the ski carousel Altastenberg (stop: parking lot at Kapellenhang) and the family ski area Sahnehang (stop: parking lot at Sahnehang).
